Haemorrhoids (or piles) affect around 1 in 4 adults – and many people suffer in silence.
Rectify offers a fast, non-invasive treatment that doesn’t involve surgery, anaesthetic, or recovery time. Clinically approved by NICE and trusted by thousands, our advanced electrotherapy method targets the root cause of your symptoms to provide safe and lasting relief. And because it’s done in-clinic with no cutting, burning, or injections, you can get back to living life comfortably…straight away.
Answer a few simple questions to better understand the type and severity of your haemorrhoids. We’ll give you a clear indication of what your symptoms mean – and advice on whether Rectify treatment could be right for you.
Rectify was founded by Dr Steve Fox, a leading clinician who has been treating haemorrhoids for nearly 30 years.
After managing thousands of cases as both a surgical resident and endoscopist, he wanted to offer patients a more effective, less invasive solution. That’s when he discovered electrotherapy – and Rectify was born: a service rooted in medical precision, compassion, and complete discretion.
We use a clinically approved electrotherapy treatment to safely shrink internal haemorrhoids. A small probe delivers a low electrical current to the base of the pile, cutting off its blood supply and causing it to shrink naturally. The procedure is quick, safe, and non-surgical – with no downtime or recovery period.
Most people feel very little during treatment – often nothing at all. You might notice a slight sensation during the procedure, but there’s no need for anaesthetic or sedation. You can walk in and walk out, comfortably.
Rectify is designed for people with internal haemorrhoids (grades 1 to 3), including those who haven’t responded to creams or lifestyle changes. It’s suitable for both men and women – and often ideal for those looking to avoid surgery or long NHS waiting times.
